Melanie M. Rodgers
Melanie M. Rodgers is a graphic designer and assistant professor of art at York College of Pennsylvania, where she has taught since 1999. Prior to York, she taught graphic design at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design and in MICA’s day and continuing studies programs. When not mentoring young designers, she is involved in a variety of projects, primarily typographic in nature, both in print and on screen, as well as critical and creative writing. Her research has appeared in Voice: the AIGA Journal, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and the proceedings of several international conferences. Her work is included in the Rhizome ArtBase collection of new media at the New Museum in New York. Rodgers is a 2002 MFAST graduate. She lives in York, PA with husband, Steve, and cat, Roberta.
